About Me

When my first photo of a fellow athlete was published in the local newspaper when I was in High School, I was hooked and wanted more.  Fortunately, so did the newspaper.  I spent the next several years going everywhere with my 35mm camera, photographing different sporting events or community events, as well as special assignments for the newspaper.  Every Sunday evening, I spent in my home darkroom, using the very latest techniques to push the limits of the black and white film to account for the often dark sporting venues.  When I finished High School, the chief photographer for the newspaper approached me with an offer of a full-time position.  However, college awaited.  My direction in life shifted several times since then, but I have always loved to have a camera in my hand.

This site is where I will showcase some of my latest photos as I continue my lifelong learning of the art of photography.
